CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 93-38 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION DECLARING A PORTION OF MCKINLEY <br /> PARK AS SURPLUS AND AUTHORIZING THE SALE <br /> THEREOF <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City has a fee interest in a small parcel of land, <br /> which was used as a portion of McKinley Park, but which <br /> is no longer needed for park use; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this parcel of land is adjacent to certain property owned <br /> by James and Barbara Jarnazin; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the adjacent property owners are willing to pay fair <br /> market value for this small parcel of land; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City determines that the fair market value for the <br /> property is $2.30 per square foot or $750.00 for the <br /> entire parcel. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OFT HE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Declares the parcel of land described on Exhibit "A" <br /> attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference <br /> as surplus. <br /> <br />Section 2: The City Manager is authorized to execute all <br /> appropriate documents to transfer the subject property to <br /> the adjacent property owners, James and Barbara Jarnazin, <br /> after the City's receives payment of $750.00. <br /> <br />Section 3: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> I HEREBY CERTIFY THAT THE FOREGOING WAS DULY AND <br />REGULARLYADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON, AT <br />A MEETING HELD ON APRIL 6, 1993 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Dennis, Mohr, Pico, Scribner, and Mayor <br /> Tarver <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br /> Peg J idr , city Clerk <br /> <br />Michael H.
