CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 93-37 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPOINTING REPRESENTATIVES TO THE <br /> PT~ASANTON-SUISUN CITY HOME FINANCING <br /> AUTHORITY AND AUTHORIZING NUMEROUS ACTIONS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of March 16, 1993, the City Council <br /> reviewed the report of the Director of Finance (SR 93:89) <br /> regarding defeasing the Pleasanton-Suisun City Home <br /> Financing Authority's bonds, without impacting the <br /> existing mortgages, and closing out the program with an <br /> estimated total residual of $412,500. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The City Council appoints Thomas P. Pico, Jr. and <br /> Deborah Acosta as the representatives to the Pleasanton- <br /> Suisun City Home Financing Authority and Becky Dennis and <br /> Steven Bocian as the alternate representatives. <br /> <br />Section 2: Authorizes the two members to amend the 1984 Series A <br /> Bond Indenture to allow for the sale of mortgages issued <br /> by the Authority to a third party and to allow the <br /> defeasance of the outstanding bonds. <br /> <br />Section 3: Authorizes the two members to enter into a Residual <br /> Asset Purchase Contract with Miller & Schroeder <br /> Financial, Inc. <br /> <br />Section 4: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> I HEREBY CERTIFY THAT THE FOREGOING WAS DULY AND <br />REGULARLY ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON, AT <br />A MEETING HELD ON MARCH 16, 1993 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Dennis, Mohr, Pico, Scribner, and Mayor <br /> Tarver <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br /> <br />Michael H.
