CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 93-33 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING BUDGET AMENDMENTS <br /> REGARDING PAYMENT OF SOUTHERN PACIFIC BIT~. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of March 16, 1993, the City Council <br /> reviewed the report of the Director of Finance (SR 93:96) <br /> regarding various necessary budget amendments and <br /> allocation of funds; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves payment of $200,000 to the Southern Pacific <br /> Transportation Company to pay a portion of Southern <br /> Pacific's bill for $365,000, for the work completed by <br /> Southern Pacific on the Valley Avenue Extension Project. <br /> <br />Section 2: Authorizes funding the payment of $200,000 by <br /> reallocating $200,000 in Gas Tax Funds from the Main <br /> Street Project. <br /> <br />Section 3: Approves covering the shortfall in Main Street funding <br /> by appropriating $200,000 from the General Fund Capital <br /> Reserve for the Main Street Project. <br /> <br />Section 4: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> I HEREBY CERTIFY THAT THE FOREGOING WAS DULY AND <br />REGULARLY ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON, AT <br />A MEETING HELD ON MARCH 16, 1993 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Dennis, Mohr, Pico, Scribner, and Mayor <br /> Tarver <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> ATTEST: <br /> 'eg~g~Y~ zl d r.o~ <br /> P <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br /> <br />Michael H.
