CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 93-27 <br /> <br /> RESOI/3TION AMENDING RESOI/JTION NO. 92-100 <br /> (MASTER FEE RESOLUTION) TO PROVIDE FOR <br /> INCREASES IN WATER RATES AND CHARGES <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton provides a variety of municipal <br /> services for which fees and charges have been established <br /> and compiled in Resolution No. 92-100; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of February 16, 1993, the City Council <br /> received a study prepared by Craig R. Lawson, Utility <br /> Management Consultant, and a report by the Director of <br /> Finance (SR 93:70) recommending that water rates and <br /> charges be increased in order to meet necessary expenses <br /> incurred by the City in providing these services; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Section IX of Resolution No. 92-100 is hereby amended <br /> to read as set forth on Exhibit A, attached hereto and <br /> incorporated herein by reference. <br /> <br />Section 2: Authorizes the Director of Finance to temporarily <br /> advance funds to the Water M & 0 Fund as necessary to <br /> meet cash flow requirements until the required revenues <br /> meet current and planned future expenditures. <br /> <br />Section 3: Authorizes staff to send a letter to Zone 7 requesting <br /> a review of the adopted 12% rate increase, in view of the <br /> lessened impact of the drought, and the current local <br /> economic situation. <br /> <br />Section 4: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
