CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 93-13 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION REFERRING LITIGATION TO CITY <br /> ATTORNEY FOR APPROPRIATE ACTION TO DEFEND THE <br /> CITY <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The Summons and Complaint in the Alameda County <br /> Superior Court, Case No. V-005203-8, in the matter of <br /> Mary Frakes v. City of Pleasanton, et al., served on the <br /> City on October 14, 1992, is hereby referred to the City <br /> Attorney for action as deemed necessary and appropriate <br /> to defend the City of Pleasanton, its officers, agents, <br /> and employees in said action, and the City Attorney is <br /> hereby authorized to incur expenses reasonably necessary <br /> for such purpose. <br /> <br />Section 2: The Summons and Complaint in the Contra Costa County <br /> Superior Court, Case No. C92-04643, in the matter of <br /> Yvonne Boyden v. Bryan Silaqy, et al., served on the City <br /> on December 15, 1992, is hereby referred to the City <br /> Attorney for action as deemed necessary and appropriate <br /> to defend the City of Pleasanton, its officers, agents, <br /> and employees in said action, and the City Attorney is <br /> hereby authorized to incur expenses reasonably necessary <br /> for such purpose. <br /> <br />Section 3: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> I HEREBY CERTIFY THAT THE FOREGOING WAS DULY AND <br />REGULARLY ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON, AT <br />A MEETING HELD ON JANUARY 19, 1993 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Mohr, Pico, Scribner, and Mayor Tarver <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br /> Pegg~E~idro~ City Clerk <br /> <br />Michael H.
