CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 93-09 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING GROWTH MANAGEMENT <br /> EXEMPTION FOR ROTARY COMMONS PROJECT <br /> (PUD-92-8) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Pleasanton RotaryNorth has requested a Growth Management <br /> Program exemption for a seven-unit attached residential <br /> development aimed at providing affordable housing for <br /> lower-income households; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Director of Planning and Community Development <br /> presented his report (SR 93:36) regarding the request <br /> from Pleasanton Rotary North which analyzed the request <br /> and made several recommendations. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the application from Pleasanton Rotary North <br /> for a lower-income growth management exemption for the <br /> seven-unit attached residential complex located at the <br /> southeast corner of Palomino Drive and Concord Street <br /> (PUD-92-8), subject to the following conditions: <br /> <br /> 1. All seven of the units in the project shall be sold <br /> at prices not to exceed a level considered <br /> affordable to "lower-income" households (i.e. 80% <br /> of the median income level). House sales prices <br /> shall be based upon the current median income level <br /> for the Oakland PMSA- (Primary Metropolitan <br /> Statistical Area). <br /> <br /> 2. Pleasanton Rotary North shall enter into an <br /> agreement with the City establishing a pricing <br /> structure for the units which meets the <br /> requirements of the lower-income GMP exemption and <br /> implements other related conditions of the <br /> exemption as applicable. <br /> <br /> 3. The lower income exemption agreement shall run with <br /> the land. <br /> <br /> 4. The exemption shall lapse eighteen (18) months from <br /> the date of approval unless construction has <br /> commenced on any building in the project or unless <br /> an extension of time is granted by the City <br /> Council. <br /> <br />Section 2: The City Manager is authorized to approve and execute <br /> a contract with Pleasanton Rotary North implementing the <br /> conditions of this exemption. <br /> <br /> <br />
