CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 93-06 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPOINTING THE 1993-94 ADVISORY <br /> BOARD FOR THE DOWNTOWN PT~ASANTON BUSINESS <br /> IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton has heretofore established a <br /> Downtown Pleasanton Business Improvement District <br /> (Chapter 5.28, Pleasanton Municipal Code); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Parking and Business Improvement Area Law of 1989 <br />(Streets and Highways Code §§36500 et seq.) requires the <br />City Council of the City of Pleasanton to appoint an <br />advisory board, which board shall prepare a budget each <br />fiscal year with a report describing the improvements and <br />activities of the Downtown Improvement District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Council reviewed the report of the Director of Finance <br /> (SR 93:34) regarding the recommendations of the downtown <br /> Association for appointment to the advisory board; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The following person are appointed to the 1993-94 <br /> Pleasanton Downtown Association Advisory Board: <br /> <br /> Martin Sweeney <br /> Mike Clauser <br /> Karen Cram <br /> Art Dunkley <br /> Sandy MacTernan <br /> Bruce Takens <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> I HEREBY CERTIFY THAT THE FOREGOING WAS DULY AND <br />REGULARLY ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON, AT <br />A MEETING HELD ON JANUARY 19, 1993 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Mohr, Scribner, and Mayor Tarvet <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: Councilmember Pico <br /> Peg~~~ ldr~k <br />APPROVED FO : <br /> AS TO <br /> <br />M~~ Roush, City orney <br /> <br /> <br />
