CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 93-04 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION DENYING CITY COUNCIL APPEAL <br /> (AP-92-23) THEREBY UPHOLDING APPROVAL OF THE <br /> APPLICATION OF A. ~LRERTO PALIACIOS TO <br /> CONSTRUCT A SATET~.TTE DISH ANTENNA FOR <br /> ~ERTO'S CANTINA, AS FILED UNDER CASE <br /> Z-92-238 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Zoning Administrator approved Case Z-92-238, the <br /> application of A. Alberto Paliacios for administrative <br /> design review approval to construct a nine foot diameter <br /> roof-mounted satellite dish antenna for Alberto's Cantina <br /> located at 435 Main street; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is C-C (Central Commercial) - <br /> Downtown Overlay District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, within the time specified by the Pleasanton Municipal <br /> Code, the City Council of Pleasanton appealed the <br /> decision in order to review the proposed satellite dish; <br /> and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a public hearing was held before the City Council on <br /> January 5, 1993, at which time all pertinent testimony <br /> and documents were reviewed; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council determined that the proposed satellite <br /> antenna is appropriately screened from Main Street and <br /> that the view from the rear parking lot area would not <br /> create a significant visual impact. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OFTHE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Denies Case AP-92-23, thereby upholding the approval of <br /> the Zoning Administrator of Case Z-92-238, an application <br /> to construct a nine foot diameter roof-mounted satellite <br /> dish antenna for Alberto's Cantina located at 435 Main <br /> Street. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
