CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 94-41 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING THAT THE ENVIRON- <br /> IVIF~NTAL DOCUMENTS FOR 1-580/I-680 SOUTH-TO-EAST <br /> DIRECT CONNECTOR FLYOVER PROJECT INCLUDE <br /> TWO ALTERNATIVES TO PRESERVE ACCESS TO <br /> FIOPYARDfDOUGHERTY ROAD <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of April 19, 1994, the Director of Public Works presented a report <br /> (SR 94:113) describing the proposed plans for the 1-580/I-680 south-to-east direct <br /> connector flyover project and describing two alternatives to the proposed plan, <br /> either of which would retain access from the connector to Hopyard/Dougherty <br /> Road; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Council discussed the alternatives and received public testimony; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The City Council hereby requests that environmental documents for the project <br /> include alternatives to retain access from the south-to-east direct connector to <br /> Hopyard/Dougherty Road. <br /> <br />Section 2: Alternative Number 2 is the preferred alternative. <br /> <br />Section 3: This resolution shall become effective'immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> I HEREBY CERTIFY THAT THE FOREGOING WAS DULY AND <br />REGULARLY ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON, AT <br />A MEETING HELD ON APRIL 19, 1994 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Dennis, Mohr, Pico, Scribner, and Mayor Tarvet <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> ATTEST: <br /> <br /> e~dro, ~ <br /> <br />Michael H.
