CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 94-22 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING VARIOUS ACTIONS IN <br /> ANTICIPATION OF REFINANCING THE 1987 AND 1988 <br /> CERTIFICATES OF PARTICIPATION <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of February 15, 1994, the City Council received and reviewed the <br /> report (SR 94:62) from the Director of Finance regarding the proposed <br /> refinancing of 1987 and 1988 Certificates of Participation; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Authorizes staff to enter into a contract with Bartle Wells Associates for financial <br /> advisory services in an amount not to exceed $45,000 plus out of pocket <br /> expenses. <br /> <br />Section 2: Authorizes the City Attorney 's office to enter into a contract for Bond Counsel <br /> services following an interview process. <br /> <br />Section 3: Authorizes the Director of Finance to advance funds from the General Fund until <br /> reimbursement can be made from the proceeds of the Certificates of Participation <br /> refmancing. <br /> <br />Section 4: This resolution shall become effective, immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> I HEREBY CERTIFY THAT THE FOREGOING WAS DULY AND <br />REGULARLY ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON, AT <br />A MEETING HELD ON FEBRUARY 15, 1994 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Dennis, Mohr, Pico, Scribner, and Mayor Tarvet <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> ATTEST: <br /> <br /> Peggyc'Lqtg~aro, Cftty Clerk <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br /> <br />Michael H.
