CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA ESOLUTION NO. 94-18 RESOLUTION APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF THE PLEASANTON CITY EMPLOYEES ASSOCIATION FOR DESIGN REVIEW APPROVAL TO CONSTRUCT A CENTENNIAL ARBOR, AS FILED UNDER CASE Z-94--05 WHEREAS, the Pleasanton City Employees Association has applied for design review approval to construct a 32' long by 15' wide redwood arbor with a total height of approximately 12', in recognition of the City of Pleasanton's Centennial Celebration, to be located between the parking lots of 200 Old Bernal Avenue and the Pleasanton Library; and WHEREAS, zoning for the property is Public - Civic Overlay District; and WHEREAS, projects of this nature are categorically exempt from the requirements of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA); and WHEREAS, a public heating was held on February 15, 1994, and testimony was taken concerning the proposed project; and WHEREAS, the City Council has found that the project is acceptable. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVF~ AS FOLLOWS: SeCtion 1: Approves the application of the Pleasanton City Employees Association for design review approval to construct a 32' long by 15' wide redwood arbor with a total height of approximately 12', in recognition of the City of Pleasanton's Centennial Celebration, to be located between the parking lots of 200 Old Bernal Avenue and the Pleasanton Library; subject to the following conditions: a. That the project shall conform substantially to the plans and elevations, Exhibit A (dated "Received January 7, 1994"), on file with the Planning Department, except as modified herein. b. That the applicant shall obtain all building and other applicable City permits for the project prior to the commencement of construction. c. The applicant shall work with Planning staff on the design of the sign to spell out "Pleasanton City Employees Association".
