CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 94-03 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION <br /> FOR THE APPLICATION OF PRUDENTIAL INSURANCE <br /> COMPANY/GREINER/WAL-MART STORES, INC. FOR <br /> DEVELOPMF~NT PLAN APPROVAL FOR A 126,390 SQ. Ft. <br /> RETAIL STORE AS FILED UNDER CASE PUD-85-08-SD <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of January 4, 1994, the City Council received a proposed negative <br /> declaration for the application of Prudential Insurance Company in conjunction <br /> with Greiner and Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. for development plan approval to <br /> construct an approximately 126, 390 square foot retain store on a 15.06 acre <br /> portion of a 32.3 acre site located at the northeast corner of Hacienda Drive and <br /> Owens Drive in the Hacienda Business Park; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has received and reviewed the Initial Study dated September 17, <br /> 1993 and received the recommendations of the staff and Planning Commission; <br /> and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time the public was given the <br /> opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of the proposed <br /> development plan; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts in accordance with the <br /> applicable state and local guidelines governing the preparation of Negative <br /> Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the proposed development plan would not have any <br /> significant adverse effects on the environment; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVF, S <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the Negative Declaration for the application of Prudential Insurance <br /> Company in conjunction with Greiner and Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. for development <br /> plan approval to construct an approximately 126, 390 square foot retain store on <br /> a 15.06 acre portion of a 32.3 acre site located at the northeast corner of <br /> Hacienda Drive and Owens Drive in the Hacienda Business Park. <br /> <br /> <br />
