CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 94-01 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION REFERRING LITIGATION TO TIlE <br /> CITY ATTORNEY FOR APPROPRIATE ACTION TO <br /> DEFEND THE CITY <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The Summons and Complaint in the Municipal Court of Alameda County, <br /> Case No. C-26438, in the matter of Silva v. City_ of Pleasanton, served on <br /> the City on November 16, 1993, is hereby referred to the City Attorney for <br /> action as deemed necessary and appropriate to defend the City of <br /> Pleasanton, its officers, agents and employees in said action, and the City <br /> Attorney is hereby authorized to incur exp~nses reasonably necessary for <br /> such purpose. <br /> <br />Section 2: The Summons and Complain in the Alameda County Superior Court, Case <br /> No. V-007-182-0, in the matter of Leite v. County of Alameda, City of <br /> Pleasanton, served on the City on November 30, 1993, is hereby referred <br /> to the City Attorney for action as deemed necessary and appropriate to <br /> defend the City of Pleasanton, its officer, s agents, and employees in said <br /> action, and the City Attorney is hereby authorized to incur expenses <br /> reasonably necessary for such purpose. <br /> <br />Section 3: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and <br /> adoption. <br /> <br /> I HEREBY CERTIFY THAT THE FOREGOING WAS DULY AND <br />REGULARLY ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON, AT A MEETING HELD ON JANUARY 4, 1994 BY THE <br />FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Dennis, Mohr, Pico, Scribner, and Mayor Tarver <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> ATTEST: <br /> ~/Z/~ ) <br /> Peggy(&.&' Ei~id~o, Cffy Clerk <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br /> <br />Michael H.
