CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 95-127 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br /> DOCUMENTS ASSOCIATED WITH CITY'S FIRST <br /> INTERSTATE DEFERRED COMPENSATION PLAN <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton is a California Public Agency, ("Public Agency"), <br /> which means that it is a municipal corporation. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> Section 1: The Public Agency authorizes any one of the Authorized Persons: <br /> <br /> (a) To execute such agreements or documents as First Interstate Bank of <br /> California ("Bank") may at any time request (and all renewals or <br /> amendments thereto) regarding this Public Agency's IRC 457 Deferred <br /> Compensation Plan, including Banks Deferred compensation Investment, <br /> Deposit and Administrative Services Agreement (which contains indemnity <br /> and hold harmless provisions), which agreement the Public Agency has <br /> reviewed and does approve. <br /> <br /> (b) To deposit in any such Deferred Compensation account or accounts, <br /> stocks, bonds, securities, cash, funds, checks, instruments and/or other <br /> property held or owned by this Public Agency, and to hold exchange, <br /> acquire, buy, sell, pledge, collect, transfer, deliver, disburse, redeem, <br /> withdraw, and/or dispose of any such stocks, bonds, securities, cash, funds, <br /> checks, instruments and/or other properly upon written order or instruction <br /> of any one of the following Authorized Persons: <br /> <br /> Name Title <br /> Deborah Acosta City Manager <br /> Susan Rossi Finance Director <br /> Michael Roush City Attorney <br /> <br />Section 2: The Bank is authorized to act and rely on this resolution until it actually <br /> receives written notice of its revocation. <br /> <br /> <br />
