CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 95-122 RESOLUTION APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF NEW CITIES DEVELOPMENT GROUP FOR A GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT TO CHANGE THE LAND USE ELEMENT DESIGNATION OF AN APPROXIMATELY 7.57 ACRE SITE LOCATED AT 5701 BLACK AVENUE TO THE "MEDIUM DENSITY RESIDENTIAL" DESIGNATION, AS FLIED IJNDER CASE GP-95-1 WHEREAS, at its meeting of October 17, 1995, the City Council reviewed an application from New Cities Development Group to change the land use designation of an approximately 7.57 acre site located at 5701 Black Avenue to the "Medium Density Residential" designation; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public hearing on the proposed change and recommended that the amendment be approved; and WHEREAS, the City Council determined that a Negative Declaration was appropriate for the proposed General Plan amendment and adopted Resolution No. 95-121 approving the Negative Declaration; and WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing with respect to the General Plan amendment at which time any member of the public was offered the opportunity to address the City Council on said amendment; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: The City Council approves the application of New Cities Development Group to change the land use designation of an approximately 7.57 acre site located at 5701 Black Avenue to the "Medium Density Residential" designation, as filed under Case GP-95-1. Section 2: The City Council determines that this is one of the four times in 1995 that the Land Use Element of the General Plan is amended as provided in Government Code Section 6563 1. Section 3: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption.
