CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 95-118 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION AMENDING THE MASTER FEE <br /> SCHEDULE REGARDING FEE FOR RECORD <br /> CHECKS FOR SCHOOL VOLUNTEERS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the California Legislature in 1995 authorized school districts to access <br /> criminal history information on applicants for volunteer positions; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Pleasanton Police Department has agreed to obtain such information for <br /> the Pleasanton Unified School District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the School District will provide a list of names of applicants to the Police <br /> Department; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said list will not exceed 20 names, however on occasion a single name or a <br /> list of less than 20 names may be provided; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, a fee of $10.00 for a list of 10-20 names or $1.00 per name for less than ten <br /> names will enable the City to recover the cost of providing this service. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> Section 1: The Master Fee Schedule adopted by Resolution No. 92-100 is hereby <br /> amended to add the following fee to Part V. Section A <br /> <br /> Record Check for School Volunteer Applicants <br /> (list often - not to exceed 20 names) $10.00 <br /> <br /> Record Check for School Volunteer Applicants <br /> (less than ten names) $ 1.00/name <br /> <br /> Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and <br /> adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
