CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 95-117 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING GRANTS TO VARIOUS <br /> AGENCIES AND ORGANIZATIONS FOR YOUTH <br /> PROGRAMS <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of June 6, 1995, the City Council allocated $30,000 of an <br /> undesignated $100,000 fund, plus the $3,000 remaining in the Proposition 4 <br /> Fund, in one-time-only grants for youth programs; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of October 4, 1995, the Human Services Commission <br /> reviewed the applications and made recommendations as to such grants; and <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of October 17, 1995, the City Council reviewed the <br /> recommendations of the Human Services Commission and the report of the <br /> Director of Parks and Community Services (SR 95:354) regarding the <br /> proposed grants; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> Section 1: Approves Grants to various agencies and organizations for youth programs <br /> as set forth below: <br /> <br /> Tri-Valley Community Television $2,300 <br /> Harvest Park Middle School 1,500 <br /> Walnut Grove Elementary School 2,000 <br /> Pleasanton Playhouse 2,000 <br /> Alisal Elementary School 2,000 <br /> YMCA 2,000 <br /> Pleasanton Youth Collaborative 5,000 <br /> Resources for Family Development 3,200 <br /> Valley Community Health Center 3,000 <br /> The Center 5,000 <br /> <br /> Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and <br /> adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
