CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 95-84 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING THE 1995-96 <br /> CONVENTION AND VISITORS BUREAU BUDGET OF <br /> $106,000 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on June 21, 1995, the City Council approved the Convention and Visitors <br /> Bureau budget of $106,000 as part of the City's 1995-96 Operating and <br /> Capital Improvement Budget; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at that time, staff indicated a further report would be forthcoming after staff <br /> discussed further with the Convention and Visitors Bureau a final budget; <br /> arid <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of August 7, 1995, the City Council reviewed the report of <br /> the City Manager (SR 95:253); <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: After a further review of the Convention and Visitors Bureau 1995-96 <br /> Budget, the City Council retains the approved 1995-96 budget of $106,000. <br /> <br />Section 2: The City Council supports staffs efforts to continue to discuss and develop <br /> a plan for a Tri-Valley Convention and Visitors Bureau by working with the <br /> existing Bureau Board and all interested Tri-Valley cities with a report back <br /> to the City Council by mid-year. <br /> <br />Section 3: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and <br /> adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
