Justification for Changes <br /> <br />Changes proposed are to address concerns that fees are very complex <br />and difficult to interpret. The deletion of two levels of fees for <br />the Amador Recreation Building and Century House recognize the <br />service is provided, regardless of numbers attending. The kitchen <br />fee for the Veterans Building was simply added to the basic fee to <br />assure users have access to basic kitchen support. The lower fee <br />for full kitchen use of the Veterans Building was eliminated to <br />assure an adequate fee is assigned to cover cleaning. The basic <br />hourly fee for the Senior Center has been changed to one fee for <br />all priorities to cover additional costs. <br /> <br />Priority Classifications and Fees for Gym Use <br /> <br />The priority classification is consistent with that of other <br />City facilities. <br /> No changes proposed <br /> lee/Hour Fee/Hour <br /> 1 Gym 2 Gyms <br /> A. Sponsored Groups <br /> <br /> All sponsored groups are designated <br /> by meeting the requirements included <br /> in the policy for a Recreation Group <br /> Sponsorship Classification. To be <br /> considered sponsored, an organization <br /> file must be complete. <br /> <br /> 1. Cosponsored - reserved for community $20.00 + $10.00 <br /> groups whose program serves a signif- (Direct <br /> cant number of people, providing cost only) <br /> a wholesome and desirable recreational <br /> activity and is considered of service <br /> to the community. <br /> <br /> 2. Sanctioned Programs - Meets all above $22.50 + $10.00 <br /> requirements, but is limited in degree <br /> in terms of numbers served. <br /> <br /> 3. Approved, worthwhile community $22.50 + $10.00 <br /> activities or projects which are <br /> beneficial to the community, but <br /> have main values other than <br /> recreation or is of a limited <br /> recreation value. <br /> <br /> B. Classified Groups <br /> <br /> 1. Permitted - Local organizations using $25.00 + $15.00 <br /> facilities for their own members. <br /> Example of these types of groups would <br /> be service clubs, homeowner organizations, <br /> education or nonprofit social service <br /> groups. <br /> <br />SR 95:206 -15- <br /> <br /> <br />
