Justification for Changes Changes proposed are to address concerns that fees are very complex and difficult to interpret. The deletion of two levels of fees for the Amador Recreation Building and Century House recognize the service is provided, regardless of numbers attending. The kitchen fee for the Veterans Building was simply added to the basic fee to assure users have access to basic kitchen support. The lower fee for full kitchen use of the Veterans Building was eliminated to assure an adequate fee is assigned to cover cleaning. The basic hourly fee for the Senior Center has been changed to one fee for all priorities to cover additional costs. Priority Classifications and Fees for Gym Use The priority classification is consistent with that of other City facilities. No changes proposed lee/Hour Fee/Hour 1 Gym 2 Gyms A. Sponsored Groups All sponsored groups are designated by meeting the requirements included in the policy for a Recreation Group Sponsorship Classification. To be considered sponsored, an organization file must be complete. 1. Cosponsored - reserved for community $20.00 + $10.00 groups whose program serves a signif- (Direct cant number of people, providing cost only) a wholesome and desirable recreational activity and is considered of service to the community. 2. Sanctioned Programs - Meets all above $22.50 + $10.00 requirements, but is limited in degree in terms of numbers served. 3. Approved, worthwhile community $22.50 + $10.00 activities or projects which are beneficial to the community, but have main values other than recreation or is of a limited recreation value. B. Classified Groups 1. Permitted - Local organizations using $25.00 + $15.00 facilities for their own members. Example of these types of groups would be service clubs, homeowner organizations, education or nonprofit social service groups. SR 95:206 -15-
