(In addition to this funding, $700,000 is included for this project in FY 1996/97), page 29. · Provide $45,000 as a contribution towards dispatch equipment which may be necessary pending f'n'e dispatching being provided by Alameda County, page 30. · Provide $55,000 to slurry seal City parking lots and the repair and resurface the Police Station parking lots, pages 39-40. ~. FY 1996/97 · Continue support to the conversion of the 800 MHz radio system. Total Phase II costs are estimated at $545,000, page 26. · Provide $180,000 for an aerial survey to update the City's GIS base map, page 27. · Provide $700,000 for the expansion of the Police Department. Total project cost is estimated to be $1.4 million, page 27. · Replace City 's 1975 Boardman Fire Engine and equipment - estimated cost $350,000, page 30. · Provide $30,000 to provide computer networking of City Fire Stations, page 31. · Provide $160,000 towards the development of bike paths, pages 41-42. Also included in this program is revenue to develop reserves for a new City Hall and a Community Center. Both projects were identified in the City's Facilities Master Plan. City staff has not begun to investigate or plan these two projects which could potentially be developed jointly as one facility. However, the reserves represent the first step in the financial planning for these projects. xi
