CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 95-79 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION LIPHOLDING TIlE APPEAL (AP-95-05) <br /> OF ED AND DIANE CHURKA AND APPROVING THE <br /> APPLICATION FOR DESIGN REVIEW APPROVAL, AS <br /> FILED UNDER CASE Z-95-12 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission conditionally approved Case Z-95-12, the <br /> application of Ed and Diane Churka for design review approval to construct <br /> an approximately 3,956 square foot commercial building and related site <br /> improvements to be located at 780 Main Street; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is C-C (Central Commercial), Downtown <br /> Revitalization, Core Area Overlay District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, within the time specified by the Pleasanton Municipal Code, the applicants <br /> appealed the decision; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a public hearing was held before the City Council on July 18, 1995, at <br /> which time all pertinent testimony and documents were reviewed; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has found that the project, as conditioned, is consistent <br /> with the City's General Plan; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Upholds the appeal of Ed and Diane Churka and grants design review <br /> approval to construct an approximately 3,956 square foot commercial <br /> building and related site improvements to be located at 780 Main Street, <br /> subject to the conditions attached hereto and incorporated herein by this <br /> reference. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and <br /> adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
