CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 95-77 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION INITIATING PROCEEDINGS FOR THE <br /> FORMATION OF THE MOLLER RANCH GEOLOGIC <br /> HAZARD ABATEMENT DISTRICT (GHAD) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on October 18, 1994, pursuant to section 26550 of the Public Resources <br /> Code, this Council adopted Resolution No. 94-118A, declaring that the <br /> Council is subject to the provisions of Division 17 (§26500 et sea_.) of said <br /> Code, and forwarded a copy of said resolution to the State Controller; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of said Division 17 of said Code, a petition was <br /> filed with the City Clerk, dated March 22, 1995, for the formation of a <br /> geologic hazard abatement district C GHAD") for the Moller Ranch, Tract <br /> 6618, project area; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said petition complies with the provisions of Public Resources Code §26552 <br /> and has attached to it a legal description of the boundaries of the territory <br /> to be included within the proposed GHAD (Exhibit "A"), a map showing <br /> the boundaries of the territory to be included within the proposed GHAD <br /> (Exhibit "B"), and a plan of control (Exhibit "C"); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Clerk has reviewed said petition and determined that it is <br /> substantially in the form described in Public Resources Code §§26551, <br /> 26552, and 26553, and verified that the signatures affixed to the petition <br /> represent the owners of all of the real property to be included within the <br /> proposed GHAD, and further verified that the signatures thereon were <br /> secured within 120 days of the date on which the first signature on the <br /> petition was affixed and that said petition was submitted to the City Clerk <br /> within 30 days after the last signature was affixed; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: This resolution is made pursuant to Division 17 (§26500 et seq.) of the <br /> Public Resources Code. <br /> <br /> <br />
