CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 95-44 RESOLUTION APPROVING A lVlEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN THE CITY OF PLEASANTON AND THE PLEASANTON POLICE OFFICERS ASSOCIATION, FIXING SALARIES AND CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT FOR ENUMERATED CLASSES OF EMPLOYEES, AND AMENDING THE 1994-95 BUDGET WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton, acting through the City Manager as employer representative of the City Council, and representatives of the Pleasanton Police Officers Association have met and conferred pursuant to the provisions of Section 3500, et seq., of the Government Code in regard to wages, hours and other terms and conditions of employment for members of the Pleasanton Police Officers Association; and WHEREAS, as a result of the above meeting and conferring process a proposed Memorandum of Understanding dated April 24, 1995 between the City of Pleasanton and the Pleasanton Police Officers Association was presented to the City Council at the meeting of April 24, 1995; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Approves and authorizes the City Manager to execute the Memorandum of Understanding between the City of Pleasanton and the Pleasanton Police Officers Association for a term commencing April 1, 1995, through March 31, 1998, a copy of which is attached hereto as Exhibit "A" and incorporated herein by reference. Section 2: The employees' class rifles and salary ranges to be paid by the City of Pleasanton to all employees in the Pleasanton Police Officers Association during the period April 1, 1995 through March 31, 1998, shall be set forth in Exhibit "A". Section 3: The budget for fiscal year 1994-95 is hereby amended to reflect those changes enumerated in Exhibit "A". Section 4: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption.
