CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 95-36 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION DEFINING ENVIRONMENTAL <br /> COMMUNITY MEMBERSHIP CATEGORY FOR TI-IE <br /> ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT ADVISORY <br /> COMMITTEE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Section 2 of Resolution No. 95-08 set forth the categories for membership <br /> on the Economic Development Advisory Committee; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the definition for "Environmental Community" has been determined to be <br /> too restrictive in that no non-profit group devoted to environmental issues <br /> had an office or chapter in the City of Pleasanton; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Economic Development Advisory Committee has discussed this matter <br /> and proposes redefining the category; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The Environmental Community membership category for the Economic <br /> Development Advisory Committee shall be defined as follows: <br /> <br /> "A representative who is a Pleasanton resident, or an employee within <br /> Pleasanton, with expertise in environmental issues." <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and <br /> adoption. <br /> <br /> I HEREBY CERTIFY THAT THE FOREGOING WAS DULY AND <br />REGULARLY ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON, AT A MEETING HELD ON MARCH 21, 1995 BY THE <br />FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Michelotti, Mohr, Pico, and Mayor Tarver <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilmember Dennis <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> ATTEST: <br /> <br /> Pegg~IL~. ~'zidro, Cft~ Clerk <br /> <br />Michael H.
