CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 95-32 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION ADOPTING A REVISED <br /> MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING BY AND <br /> AMONG THE COUNTY OF ALAMEDA, COUNTY OF <br /> CONTRA COSTA, TOWN OF DANVILLE, AND CITIES <br /> OF DUBLIN, LIVERMORE, PLEASANTON, AND SAN <br /> RAMON <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on February 11, 1995, the City Council of the City of Pleasanton adopted <br /> Resolution No. 95-25, approving a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) <br /> by and among the Board of Supervisors for the Counties of Alameda and <br /> Contra Costa and the Councils of Danville, Dublin, Livermore, Pleasanton, <br /> and San Ramon, and authorizing the Mayor of the City of Pleasanton to <br /> sign the MOU; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the purpose of the MOU is to provide a framework for oversight of efforts <br /> associated with the Comprehensive Subregional Planning Pilot Project in the <br /> Tri-Valley area (hereafter referred to as "Project"); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the purpose of the Project is two-fold: (1) to demonstrate coordinated, <br /> multi-jurisdictional local planning (at a subregional level) to achieve region- <br /> wide goals and objectives; and (2) to produce a draft subregional strategy <br /> comprised primarily of model goals, objectives, and policy language for <br /> potential inclusion in the general plans and related policy documents of the <br /> participating jurisdictions; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the MOU also serves to establish the City of San Ramon as the responsible <br /> Party for financial oversight of funds expended in conjunction with the <br /> development of the referenced documents; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on February 27, 1995, the City Council of the City of Dublin approved a <br /> similar version of the MOU, but with revisions relating to the name of the <br /> Tri-Valley Planning Council, voting provisions, and date of termination of <br /> the subregional planning process. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> <br />
