CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 95-31 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION AMENDING THE MASTER FEE <br /> SCHEDULE REGARDING VARIOUS POLICE <br /> DEPARTMENT CHARGES <br /> <br />WHEREAS, American Citizens who plan to live or work in other countries for an <br /> extended period of time are required to furnish a letter from the local Police <br /> Chief stating that the person has no criminal record; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a $10.00 fee for such a letter would enable the City of Pleasanton to <br /> recover the cost of providing this service; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, functions held at the Alameda County Fairgrounds or other locations in the <br /> City of Pleasanton at which alcoholic beverages will be sold must be <br /> authorized by the State Alcoholic Beverage Control Board; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, such authorization is granted only after receipt of a letter from the <br /> Pleasanton Police Department stating there is no objection; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a $10.00 fee for such a letter would enable the City to recover the cost of <br /> providing this service; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFOE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The Master Fee Schedule adopted by Resolution No. 92-100 is hereby <br /> amended to add Items 16 and 17 to Part V, Section A, as follows: <br /> <br /> "16. Alcoholic Beverage Control Letter $10.00 <br /> <br /> 17. Citizen Clearance Letter $10.00" <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and <br /> adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
