CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 95-27 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING THE CONCEPT OF A <br /> TWO-YEAR OPERATING BUDGET <br /> <br />WHEREAS, in an effort to provide better financial planning and improve the budgeting <br /> process, staff is proposing the preparation and adoption of a two-year <br /> operating budget, beginning with the coming two fiscal years; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting March 7, 1995, Council reviewed the report of the Director <br /> of Finance (SR 95:80); <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The City Council approves in concept the preparation and adoption of a <br /> two-year operating budget, with a mid-period review, and directs staff to <br /> prepare such a budget for the years 1995-96 and 1996-97. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and <br /> adoption. <br /> <br /> I HEREBY CERTIFY THAT THE FOREGOING WAS DULY AND <br />REGULARLY ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON, AT A MEETING HELD ON MARCH 7, 1995 BY THE FOLLOWING <br />VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councihnembers - Dennis, Michelotti, Mohr, Pico, and Mayor Tarver <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> ATTEST: <br /> <br />Michael H.
