Resolution No. 95-25 <br />Page Two <br /> <br />WHEREAS, by entering into this MOU, the Paxties do not intend to create an agency or entity <br /> separate from the Parties to the MOU; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton has been an active supporter and participant in the TVC; <br /> and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the General Plan of the City of Pleasanton supports the concept of cooperative <br /> regional planning; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the purpose of coordinated and cooperative regional planning would be served by <br /> the adoption of this MOU and participation of the Project defined above. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The City Council of the City of Pleasanton hereby approves the Memorandum of <br /> Understanding by and among the Board of Supervisors for the Counties of <br /> Alameda and Contra Costa and the Councils of Danville, Dublin, Livemore, <br /> Pleasanton, and San Ramon, and authorizes the Mayor of the City of Pleasanton <br /> to sign the Memorandum of Understanding. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> I HEREBY CERTIFY THAT THE FOREGOING WAS DULY AND <br />REGULARLY ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON, AT <br />A MEETING HELD ON FEBRUARY 21. 1995, BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Dennis, Michelotti, Mohr, Pico, and Mayor Tarver <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> ATFEST: <br /> <br /> PeggycJ-..cJ~i~t'ro, Ci~, Clerk <br /> <br />Michael H.
