CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 95-12 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING DISTRIBUTION OF <br /> THE GENERAL FUND UNDESIGNATED FUND <br /> BALANCE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of January 17, 1995, the City Council received the report of <br /> the Director of Finance (SR 95:32) regarding proposed allocation of <br /> 1993-94 General Fund undesignated fund balances; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Authorizes the transfer of $301,782 to the General Fund Capital Projects <br /> Reserve from one-time revenue, to be made available for appropriation <br /> when the 1995-96/1999-2000 CIP is presented this spring. <br /> <br />Section 2: Authorizes the transfer of $100,000 to an undesignated fund and staff is <br /> directed to investigate options for future funding of youth oriented <br /> programs. <br /> <br />Section 3: Authorizes the advance of up to $240,000 for additional City Hall <br /> expansion costs, to be repaid from developer fees when available. <br /> <br />Section 4: Authorizes the expenditure of $198,575 to be used in recognition of the <br /> cooperation and cost containment efforts made by staff to help balance the <br /> budget, resulting in a one-time payment of $650 to all Police (POA), <br /> Miscellaneous (PCEA), Confidential and Management employees. <br /> <br />Section 5: Authorizes the transfer of $120,000 to the Data Processing Replacement <br /> Fund for future appropriation, and directing staff to develop a plan for the <br /> next phase of networking and hardware/software upgrades. <br /> <br />Section 6: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and <br /> adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
