CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 96-133 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION AMENDING MASTER FEE <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 92-100 TO ADD A LATE FEE <br /> CHARGE AND ESTABLISHING A FINE FOR THE <br /> FOURTH, OR SUBSEQUENT, VIOLATIONS OF THE <br /> PLEASANTON MUNICIPAL CODE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council adopted Ordinance No. 1687 to add Chapters 1.24 and <br /> 1.28 which provide for administrative citations and remedies that are in <br /> addition to all other legal remedies, criminal and civil, for violation of the <br /> Pleasanton Mtmicipal Code; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the ordinance required adopting a late fee charge and establishing fmes for <br /> the fourth, or subsequent, violation of the same offense that occurs within a <br /> 36 month period. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The City Council amends the Master Fee Resolution No. 92-100 by adding <br /> to Section I a new Subsection C to read as follows: <br /> "C. Fines--Violation of Pleasanton Municipal Code <br /> Unless otherwise specified, all violations of the Pleasanton Municipal <br /> Code, except violations of Titles 18, 19 and 20, shall be subject to a fine as <br /> stated in § 1.12,020(A) and a late payment charge if the free is not paid <br /> timely; violations of Title 18 (Zoning), Title 19 (Subdivisions), and Title 20 <br /> (Buildings and Construction) may be subject to frees under P.M.C. <br /> § 1.12,020(A) and P.M.C. § 1.24,090. If a particular penalty or enforcement <br /> procedure is also stated in a Pleasanton Municipal Code chapter, P.M.C. <br /> §1.12,020(A) or the particular penalty or enforcement procedure stated in <br /> that chapter may be applied, as determined by the appropriate City <br /> Department charged with the chapter's enforcement. <br /> <br /> <br />
