CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 96-129 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF <br /> EAST BAY REGIONAL PARK DISTRICT FOR <br /> DESIGN REVIEW APPROVAL TO PAVE AN 857 <br /> PARKING SPACE LOT AT SHADOW CLIFFS, AS <br /> FILED UNDER CASE 7_,-96-195 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, East Bay Regional Park District has applied for design review approval to <br /> pave 857 automobile parking spaces in the Shadow Cliffs Regional <br /> Recreation District located south of Stanley Boulevard approximately 3600 <br /> feet east of the intersection of Stanley Boulevard and Bemal Avenue; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is P (Public and Institutional) District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of September 25, 1996, the Planning Commission approved <br /> the application for design review approval; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, within the time specified by the Pleasanton Municipal Code, an appeal was <br /> filed with the City Clerk; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a public heating was held before the City council on November 19, 1996, at <br /> which time all pertinent testimony and documents were reviewed; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the EBRPD is the "lead agency" with respect to the environmental review <br /> of this project and has made the determination that the proposed project is <br /> covered by the Environmental Impact Report for the Shadow Cliffs Land <br /> Use Development Plan certified by the Park District Board of Directors in <br /> 1989; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council determined that the proposed use, as conditioned, will be <br /> compatible with the surrounding uses and properties. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> <br />
