CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 96-124 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF <br /> SUMMERFIELD SUITES DEVELOPMENT <br /> COMPANY, INC., AS FILED UNDER CASE <br /> PUD-81-30-65D, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Summerfield Suites Development Company, Inc. has applied for design <br />review approval to allow the construction of two hotels, consisting of a <br />128-unit suite hotel (89,578 square foot Summerfield Suites Hotel) and a <br />ll3-unit suite hotel (49,179 square foot Siena Suites Hotel) on 6.24 acres <br />of land (Site 13F) in the Hacienda Business Park, located at 5955 <br />Inglewood Drive (northeast comer of Chabot and Inglewood Drives); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit Development) I/C-O <br /> (Industrial/Commercial and Office) District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the proposed project is within the scope of the environmental impact report <br /> prepared in conjunction with the PUD approval for the Hacienda Business <br /> Park, therefore, no additional environmental documentation was prepared <br /> for this project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Council received the Planning Commission's recommendation for approval <br /> of the proposed design review; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held on November 5, 1996; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council has found that the project is consistent with the governing <br /> Hacienda Business Park PUD and Design Guidelines. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> <br />
