CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 96-123 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING A MEMORANDUM OF <br /> UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN THE CITY OF <br /> PLEASANTON AND THE PLEASANTON CITY <br /> EMPLOYEES ASSOCIATION, FIXING SALARIES <br /> AND CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT FOR <br /> ENUMERATED CLASSES OF EMPLOYEES, AND <br /> AMENDING THE 1996-97 BUDGET <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton, acting through the City Manager as employer <br /> representative of the City Council, and representatives of the Pleasanton <br /> City Employees Association have met and conferred pursuant to the <br /> provisions of Section 3500, et seq., of the Government Code in regard to <br /> wages, hours and other terms and conditions of employment for members of <br /> the Pleasanton City Employees Association; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, as a result of the above meeting and conferring process a proposed <br /> Memorandum of Understanding dated November 5, 1996 between the City <br /> of Pleasanton and the Pleasanton City Employees Association was <br /> presented to the City Council at the regular meeting of November 5, 1996; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> Section 1: Approves and authorizes the City Manager to execute the Memorandum of <br /> Understanding between the City of Pleasanton and the Pleasanton City <br /> Employees Association, a copy of which is incorporated herein by <br /> reference, for a term commencing November 1, 1996 through October 31, <br /> 1999. <br /> <br /> Section 2: The employees' class titles and salary ranges to be paid by the City of <br /> Pleasanton to all employees in the Pleasanton City Employees Association <br /> during the period November 1, 1996 through October 31, 1999, shall be set <br /> forth in the Memorandum of Understanding referred to in Section 1 above <br /> and incorporated herein by this reference. <br /> <br /> <br />
