CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 96-123 RESOLUTION APPROVING A MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN THE CITY OF PLEASANTON AND THE PLEASANTON CITY EMPLOYEES ASSOCIATION, FIXING SALARIES AND CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT FOR ENUMERATED CLASSES OF EMPLOYEES, AND AMENDING THE 1996-97 BUDGET WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton, acting through the City Manager as employer representative of the City Council, and representatives of the Pleasanton City Employees Association have met and conferred pursuant to the provisions of Section 3500, et seq., of the Government Code in regard to wages, hours and other terms and conditions of employment for members of the Pleasanton City Employees Association; and WHEREAS, as a result of the above meeting and conferring process a proposed Memorandum of Understanding dated November 5, 1996 between the City of Pleasanton and the Pleasanton City Employees Association was presented to the City Council at the regular meeting of November 5, 1996; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Approves and authorizes the City Manager to execute the Memorandum of Understanding between the City of Pleasanton and the Pleasanton City Employees Association, a copy of which is incorporated herein by reference, for a term commencing November 1, 1996 through October 31, 1999. Section 2: The employees' class titles and salary ranges to be paid by the City of Pleasanton to all employees in the Pleasanton City Employees Association during the period November 1, 1996 through October 31, 1999, shall be set forth in the Memorandum of Understanding referred to in Section 1 above and incorporated herein by this reference.
