CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 96-120 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 76-79 <br /> (ESTABLISHING TRAFFIC REGULATIONS FOR <br /> CITY STREETS) TO ESTABLISH A FOUR-WAY STOP <br /> AT VINEYARD AVENUE AND MONTEVINO DRIVE <br /> AND EL CAPITAN DRIVE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on April 12, 1976, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 76-79 (A <br /> Resolution Establishing Traffic Regulations for City Streets); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has from time to time amended Resolution No. 76-79; and <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of November 5, 1996, the City Council received and <br /> discussed a report (SR 96:3 10) from the Director of Public Works related to <br /> a request to install a four-way stop at the intersection of Vineyard Avenue <br /> at Montevino Drive and E1 Capitan Drive; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it was determined to be necessary to amend Resolution No. 76-79 to add <br /> subsection 3v-10 to Section 3 (Stop Intersections). <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> Section 1: Resolution No. 76-79 (A Resolution Establishing Traffic Regulations for <br /> City Streets) is hereby amended by adding subsection 3v-10 to Section 3 to <br /> read as follows: <br /> <br /> "3v-10 Vineyard Avenue, at Montevino Drive and E1 Capita Drive; <br /> stopping traffic in all directions." <br /> <br /> Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and <br /> adoption. <br /> <br /> I HEREBY CERTIFY THAT THE FOREGOING WAS DULY AND <br /> REGULARLY ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> PLEASANTON, AT A MEETING HELD ON NOVEMBER 5, 1996 BY THE <br /> FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br /> <br />
