III. CIRCULATION ELEMENT <br /> <br />West Las Positas Boulevard/I-680 Interchange <br /> <br /> Modify page Ili-6, paragraph 2, to read as follows: "In its original deliberations on the <br /> West Las Positas Boulevard/I-680 interchange, the 1996 General Plan Steering <br /> Committee voted to delete the interchange from the previous General Plan Map. <br /> However, since this is a very complex issue, the Steering Committee subsequently voted <br /> instead to recommend that a citizens advisory committee be appointed to study and <br /> prepare a recommendation to the City Council as to whether or not the City should <br /> continue to plan for the construction of the West Las Positas Boulevard/I-680 <br /> interchange. The Steering Committee felt that this study should carefully examine all <br /> potential impacts on the affected neighborhoods, as well as on the overall <br /> City-wide/subregional traffic circulation system. An economic and fiscal study should <br /> also be included!i!;!:.i~ii~!~i~;i~i!iiii~~iii~;~~." <br /> <br /> Modify Program 1.6 on page III-11, to read as follows: "Appoint a citizens advisory <br /> committee to study and prepare a recommendation to the City Council as to whether or <br /> not the City should continue to plan for the construction of the West Las Positas <br /> Boulevard/I-680 interchange.
