CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 96-85 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION AI)OPTING A UNIFORM FEE SCHEDULE <br /> FOR 'rile EAST COUNTY ANIMAL SHELTER <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton is cooperating with the cities of Livermore and Dublin and <br /> the County of Alameda to finance the operation of the East County Animal <br /> Shelter; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the agreement between the agencies encourages the adoption of uniform shelter <br /> fees; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the current fee structure has not been amended for several years; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, fees collected at the Animal Shelter are used to offset a portion of the shelter's <br /> direct operating costs; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Shelter Management Committee has developed a set of recommended fees to <br /> be considered by all of the participating agencies. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> Section 1: The City Council of the City of Pleasanton does hereby adopt the attached <br /> proposed East County Animal Shelter Fee Schedule. <br /> <br />Section 2: The proposed fees shall become effective thirty days from the date the Uniform <br /> Fee Schedule is adopted by the Alameda County Board of Supervisors. <br /> <br /> <br />
