CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 96-92 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE <br /> DECLARATION FOR FIRE STATION NO. 4 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of August 13, 1996, the City Council received a proposed <br /> negative declaration for the proposal for Fire Station No. 4, to be located on <br /> a vacant site situated between Del Valle Parkway and the Arroyo del Valle; <br /> and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council received and reviewed the Initial Study dated June 20, <br /> 1996, and received the recommendations of the staff and Planning <br /> Commission; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time the public was given <br /> the oppommity to comment on the environmental impacts of the proposed <br /> fire station site; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council reviewed the potential impacts in accordance with the <br /> applicable state and local guidelines governing the preparation of Negative <br /> Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council fmds that the proposed fire station site would not have any <br /> significant adverse effects on the environment. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the Negative Declaration for Fire Station No. 4, to be located on <br /> a vacant site situated between Del Valle Parkway and the Arroyo del Valle. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and <br /> adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
