CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 96-90 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION ABANDONING A TEMPORARY <br /> CONSTRUCTION EASEMENT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of August 13, 1996, Council reviewed the staff report <br /> (SR96:242) recommending that the City's interest in a temporary <br /> construction easement granted to the City in 1987 for construction of a <br /> water line be abandoned; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council fmds that the temporary construction easement described <br /> in Exhibit "A" is no longer required; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The City Manager is authorized to execute a Quitclaim Deed to the <br /> Pleasanton Unified School District, quitclaiming the City's interest in the <br /> temporary construction easement as described in the attached Exhibit "A" . <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and <br /> adoption. <br /> <br /> I HEREBY CERTIFY THAT THE FOREGOING WAS DULY AND <br />REGULARLY ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON, AT A MEETING HELD ON AUGUST 13, 1996 BY THE <br />FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Michelotti, Mohr, and Mayor Tarvet <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilmembers - Dennis and Pieo <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br /> Peggy ~. q~z~i/ch~, Cit3fJClerk <br /> <br /> Michael H.
