CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 96-83 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION AMF~NDING RESOLUTION NO. 76-79 <br /> (ESTABLISHING TRAFFIC REGULATIONS FOR CITY <br /> STREETS) BY AMENDING SECTIONS 5 AND 12 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on April 12, 1976, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 76-79 (A Resolution <br /> Establishing Traffic Regulations for City Streets); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has from time to time amended Resolution No. 76-79; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of July 16, 1996, the City Council received and discussed a report <br /> (SR 96:219) from the Director of Public Works related to adding a no stopping <br /> zone and a loading zone on Junipero; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it was determined to be necessary to amend Resolution No. 76-79; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />SeCtion 1: Resolution No. 76-79 (A Resolution Establishing Traffic Regulations for City <br /> Streets) Section 12j-3 (No Parking Zones for Vehicles in Excess of Twenty Feet <br /> in Length) is hereby amended by deleting "lunipero Drive, both sides from Sunol <br /> Boulevard to Tomas Way" and replacing it with "lunipero Street, south side, <br /> from Sunol Boulevard to Tomas Way." <br /> <br />Section 2: Resolution No. 76-79 (A Resolution Establishing Traffic Regulations for City <br /> Streets) Section 5 (No Stopping Zones) is hereby amended by adding subsection <br /> 5j-1 "lunipero Street, north side, fifty (50) feet west of Tomas Way to Sunol <br /> Boulevard." <br /> <br /> Section 3: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
