CITY OF PLEASANTON 6C <br /> S TA FF REPORT l ) <br /> <br /> June 18, 1996 <br /> City Manager <br /> <br />SUBJECT: Approval of Amendments to the City's FY1996-97 Operating <br /> Budget Including the Community Development Block Grant <br /> Program (CDBG) and Approval of Amendments to the City <br /> Capital Improvement Program (CIP) for the FY1996-97 through <br /> 1999-2000 <br /> <br />STAFF RECOMMENDATION: <br /> <br /> Staff recommends the Council adopt one of the options: <br /> <br /> 1. Adopt the mid-term budget amendments as submitted by staff; <br /> or <br /> <br /> 2. Adopt the amendments in the mid-term budget as submitted by <br /> staff except for the programming of the Temporary Recession <br /> and Capital Reserve Funds. <br /> <br /> If the Council selects Option 2 above, there are a number of options <br /> for appropriating these funds as follows: <br /> <br /> 1. Approve all of the projects recommended by staff. <br /> <br /> 2. Determine whether there is consensus regarding <br /> individual projects recommended by staff or other <br /> projects proposed by Council. <br /> <br /> 3. If there is no or little consensus regarding appropriating <br /> funds to specific projects, continue discussion for staff <br /> <br /> SR 96:197 <br /> 1 <br /> <br /> <br />
