AGIIEENIENT: The employee, by submitting a suggestion for consideration, <br /> agrees to be governed by these suggestion policies and procedures. <br /> <br />DECISIONS: Decisions regarding eligibility, awards and rules interpretation <br /> shall be made by the City Manager or designee after receiving the <br /> recommendation of the Suggestion Award Committee. All decisions of the <br /> City Manager are final. <br /> <br />AWARDS: There are three classes of monetary awards: <br /> <br /> Tangible Savings Awards are given for suggestions which reduce or <br /> eliminate expenditures in the budget and/or those which increase City <br /> revenues. <br /> <br /> Intangible Savings Awards are given for suggestions which do not <br /> reduce budget expenditures or increase revenues, but which improve <br /> productivity, work flow, service or response to the public. <br /> <br /> Salety Awards are given for suggestions that would reasonable reduce or <br /> eliminate on-the-job hazards or hazards to the general public. <br /> <br /> Monetary Awards may be from $50.00 to $500.00 based on the formula: for <br /> each $500.00 of annum dollar savings to the City to the nearest multiple, $50.00 <br /> will be awarded up to a maximum of $500.00.
