CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 96-64 RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO ORDER IMPROVEMENTS, LANDSCAPE AND LIGHTING ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 1995-2, LAGUNA OAKS (PURSUANT TO THE LANDSCAPING AND LIGHTING ACT OF 1972) NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: The City Council intends to levy and collect assessments within Landscape and Lighting Assessment District No. 1995-2 (Laguna Oaks) during fiscal year 1996- 97. The area of land to be assessed is located in the City of Pleasanton, Alameda County. Section 2: The improvements to be made in this assessment district are generally described as follows: The maintenance and repair of designated landscaped areas and open space areas, entry features, entry lighting, masonry soundwalls, wrought iron fences, common area drainage ditches, irrigation systems, trees and plantings in designated landscaped areas, furnishing of water and power for irrigation systems, street lights and pathway lighting, together with all appurtenant and incidental expenses within Tract 6266, City of Pleasanton. Section 3: In accordance with this Council's resolution directing the filing of an annual report, Randall A. Lum, Engineer of Work, has filed with the City Clerk the report required by the Landscaping and Lighting Act of 1972. All interested persons are referred to that report for a full and detailed description of the improvements, the boundaries of the assessments upon assessable lots and parcels of land within the assessment district. Section 4: On Tuesday, the 18th day of June 1996, at the hour of 7:30 p.m., the City Council will conduct a public hearing on the question of the levy of the proposed annual assessment. The hearing will be located in the City Council Chambers, 200 Old Bernal Avenue, Pleasanton, California. Section 5: The City Clerk is authorized and directed to give the notice of hearing required by the Landscaping and Lighting Act of 1972. Section 6: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption.
