CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 96-54 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION AlPROVING A NEGATIVE <br /> DECLARATION FOR PLANNED UNIT <br /> DEVELOPMENT REZONING, AS FILED UNDER <br /> CASE PUD-96-01 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of May 21, 1996, the City Council received a proposed <br /> negative declaration for the application .of the City of Pleasanton for <br /> Planned Unit Development rezoning of an approximately 1.02 acre site <br /> located at 65 Ray Street (previously occupied by Interstate Nuclear <br /> Services) from C-S (Service Commercial) to PUD (Planned Unit <br /> Development) - C-S/O (Service/Office Commercial) or to any other zoning <br /> designation deemed in the public interest; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has received and reviewed the Initial Study dated <br /> February 5, 1996 and received the recommendations of the staff and <br /> Planning Commission; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time the public was given <br /> the opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of the proposed <br /> PUD rezoning; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts in accordance with the <br /> applicable state and local guidelines governing the preparation of Negative <br /> Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the proposed rezoning and development plan <br /> approval would not have any significant adverse effects on the <br /> environment:; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council further finds that the proposed project will have no <br /> potential for adverse impacts on the site's wildlife; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> <br />
