CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 96-24 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPOINTING THE 1996-97 ADVISORY <br /> BOARD FOR THE DOWNTOWN PLEASANTON <br /> BUSINESS IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton has heretofore established a Downtown Pleasanton <br /> Business Improvement District (Chapter 5.28, Pleasanton Municipal Code; <br /> and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Parking and Business Improvement Area Law of 1989 (Streets and <br /> Highways Code §§36500 et seq.) requires the City Council of the City of <br /> Pleasanton to appoint an advisory board, which board shall prepare a <br /> budget each fiscal year with a report describing the improvements and <br /> activities of the Downtown Improvement DisUict; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Council reviewed the report of the Director of Finance (SR 96:76) <br /> regarding the recommendations of the Downtown Association for <br /> appointment to the advisory board. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The following persons are appointed to the 1996-97 Pleasanton Downtown <br /> Association Advisory Board: <br /> <br /> Tierre Avery Jeny Garcey <br /> Aytac Burul Michael Hosterman <br /> Harold Coursey Mary Johnson <br /> Maria English Mark McDonald <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and <br /> adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
