CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 96-20 ' <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 90-131 <br /> (GENERAL FINANCIAL POLICIES) TO ADD A <br /> POLICY REGARDING PUBLIC ART <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of February 20, 1996, the City Council reviewed a staff report <br /> from the Director of Parks and Community Services (SR 96:42) regarding <br /> adoption of a public art ordinance and allocation of funds for public art; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Resolution No. 90-13 1 sets forth General Financial Policies for the City of <br /> Pleasanton; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Resolution No. 90-131 (General Financial Policies) is mended to add the <br /> following policy statement to Section E (Capital Improvement Policies): <br /> <br /> The City will review public art projects submitted by the Civic Arts <br /> Commission for inclusion in the Capital Improvement Program, <br /> determining appropriate fuMing through the normal budgetary process. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and <br /> adoption. <br /> <br /> I HEREBY CERTIFY THAT THE FOREGOING WAS DULY AND <br />REGULARLY ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON, AT A MEETING HELD ON FEBRUARY 20, 1996 BY THE <br />FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Dennis, Michelotti, Pico, and Mayor Tarver <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilmember Mohr <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> ATTEST: <br /> lie~g~ LV.E~i , City~ <br />APPROVED AS TO F~/~/~ <br />Michael H.
