CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 96-19 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING DONATION OF <br /> SURPLUS 1969 CROWN FIRE ENGINE TO <br /> PLEASANTON' S SISTER CITY BLAIRGOWRIE, <br /> SCOTLAND <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of February 20, 1996, the City Council received a staff report <br /> (SR 96:47) regarding a request to donate a surplus 1969 Crown Fire En~ne <br /> to Pleasanton's sister city, Blairgowrie, Scoffand; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the donation of a surplus 1969 Crown Fire Engine to Pleas anton's <br /> sister city, Blairgowrie, Scoff and. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shah become effective immediately upon its passage and <br /> adoption. <br /> <br /> I HEREBY CERTIFY THAT THE FOREGOING WAS DULY AND <br />REGULARLY ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON, AT A MEETING HELD ON FEBRUARY 20, 1996 BY THE <br />FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Dennis, Michelotti, Pico, and Mayor Tarver <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilmember Mohr <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> ATTEST: <br /> <br /> Peggy ~'. gzi&TCity (i~/erk <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br /> <br />Michael H.
