CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 96-15 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING BEN TARVER FOR <br /> APPOINTMENT TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF <br /> THE CITIZENS HOUSING CORPORATION <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Citizens Housing Corporation (CHC) is an independent, non-profit <br /> corporation devoted to promoting and developing afforclable housing <br /> throughout the state; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it was formed by the A. F. Evans Company, in part, as an outgrowth of its <br /> Promenade (Case Avenue) apartment development in the City of <br /> Pleasanton; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, as a condition of approval of the project, the A. F. Evan.~ Company <br /> indicated it would entertain a recommendation from the City for a City <br /> resident with an interest and expertise in affordable housing to serve on <br /> CHC's Board of Directors; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the fmal decision is subject to approval of the Board of Directors of CHC; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The City Council recommends appointment of Ben Tarver to the Board of <br /> Directors of the Citizens Housing Corporation. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and <br /> adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
