CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 96-03 RESOLUTION APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF RED BEAR, INC. FOR A GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT TO CHANGE ~ LAND USE ELEMENT DESIGNATION OF AN APPROXIMATELY 1.88 ACRE SITE LOCATED AT 4013, 4031, 4049, AND 4073 STANLEY BOULEVARD TO THE "ltlGH DENSITY RESIDENTIAL" DESIGNATION, AS FILED UNDER CASE GP-95-01 WHEREAS, at its meeting of January 2, 1996, the City Council received an application from Red Bear, Inc. to change th~ General Plan land use designation of an approximately 2.88 acre site located at 4023, 403 1, 4049, and 4073 Stanley Boulevard to the "High Density Residential" designation; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public hearing on the proposed change and made recommendations to Counc~; and WHEREAS, the City Council determined that a Negative Declaration was appropriate for the proposed General Plan amendment and adopted Resolution No. 96-02 approving the Negative Declaration; and WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing with respect to the General Plan amendment at which time any member of the public was offered the opportunity to address the City Council on said amendment; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: The City Council approves the application of Red Bear, Inc. to change the General Plan land use designation of an approximately 2.88 acre site located at 4023, 4031, 4049, and 4073 Stanley Boulevard to the "High Density Residential" designation, as fried under Case GP-95-02. Section 2: The City Council determines that this is one of the four times in 1996 that the Land Use Element of the General Plan is amended as authorized by Government Code Section 6563 1.
