CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 96-02 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE <br /> DECLARATION FOR T~E APPLICATION OF RED <br /> BEAR, INC. FOR A GENERAL PLAN LAND USE <br /> ELEMENT DESIGNATION AMENDMENT AND FOR <br /> REZONING OF TFIE PROPERTY LOCATED AT 4023, <br /> 4031, 4049, AND 4073 STANLEY BOULEVARD, AS <br /> FILED UNDER CASE GP-95-02/PUD-95-06 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of January 2, 1996, the City Council received a proposed <br /> negative declaration for the application of Red Bear, Inc. to amend the <br /> General Plan Land Use Element designation of an approximately 2.88 acre <br /> site located at 4023, 403 1, 4049, and 4073 Stanley Boulevard from Medium <br /> Density Residential to High Density Residential, and for a rezoning from <br /> R-I-20,000 to Planned Unit Development (PUD) High Density <br /> Residential District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has received and reviewed the Initial Study dated <br /> October4, 1995, and received the recommendations of the staff and <br /> Planning Commission; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public heating was held at which time the public was given <br /> the oppommity to comment on the environmental impacts of the proposed <br /> General Plan amendment and rezoning; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts in accordance with the <br /> applicable state and local guidelines governing the preparation of Negative <br /> Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the proposed General Plan amendment and <br /> rezoning would not have any si~ificant adverse effects on the <br /> environment. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> <br />
