CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 98-160 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION <br /> FOR THE APPLICATION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> FOR REZONING, AS FILED UNDER CASE RZ-98-08 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of December 1, 1998, the City Council received a proposed negative <br /> declaration for the application of the City of Pleasanton to rezone two parcels of <br /> land (approximately 15.3 acres) located on the north side of Rose Avenue <br /> generally referred to as Nolan Farm (1015, 1027, and 1500 Rose Avenue) from the <br /> R-1-6,500 zoning district to the PUD-MDR (Planned Unit Development - Medium <br /> Density Residential) District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council received and reviewed the Initial Study dated September 29, <br /> 1998, and received the recommendations of the staff and Planning Commission; <br /> and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time the public was given the <br /> opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of the proposed rezoning; <br /> and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts in accordance with the <br /> applicable state and local guidelines governing the preparation of Negative <br /> Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the proposed rezoning would not have any significant <br /> adverse effects on the environment; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council further finds that the proposed rezoning will have no potential for <br /> adverse impacts on the site's wildlife; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> <br />
